Advocate
Jim Obradovich provides CDI with legislative services including:
- Advocacy on behalf of the Conservation Districts of Iowa on legislative priority issues
- Monitoring and tracking issues of interest to CDI
- Periodic legislative updates for distribution to CDI members
- Development and targeting of appropriate grassroots advocacy messages and strategies
- Daily Statehouse presence during the Legislative Session on behalf of the association and its members
- Active involvement in formal and informal coalitions and alliances related to issues of interest to CDI
